They do not dislike you extremely much. I know you prolly get that impression from me from some of the things that I have said.
but do you realize I am the "baby" of the family, by that I mean I am my moms first born, I am going to be more special to her than my sisters, then with Dad, well he is putting me above his FIVE OTHER children, do you know that he put ME down as one of the people that gets everything should he die (and mom), me and one of his sons (only cause of the problems it would cause with his family)
I am expected to be the role model to all the other children in the family (not just my two sisters, but nathaniel and megan too). . .I am the one that is most mature (even tho edwin is like 22?). . .They expect more out of me, and I really disappointed them that night that I spent at your place, by some act of God I have actually gotten my status back. . .but they still want what is best for me. . .even if THEY do not realise what that is. . .they want me to be happy. But they want me to do so in a way that is pleasing to them.
I do not think they dislike you. . .I really don't. I think Father is a littel aprehensive of you and your intentions with me. Especially since when he was your age he already had like three kids. Father is also a bit in the old times. . .and from a small town. Course it kills me, cause I KNOW if I were to ever move in with a guy (that I was dating) they would FLIP, but it is ok for them. They just want what is best for me, but also they want a good example set for my sisters.
