YES NEED.
In the states one NEEDS a computer for papers. and one can say NEED there, because without these papers one cannot pass class and without passing class one cannot get a diploma and then one cannot get a job.

HA!! There was no "need" + "paper", simply "need"
there are plenty of humans without jobs who still function... however, these humans NEED food air and water!
