Hmmm...I get to talk to him plenty. and I'm a little heated tonight over my family member's husband who a complete MORON and my mouth has been running CONSTANTLY!!! So he gets to hear me plenty tonight.

I was living in Sioux City in the Spring and Dubuque during the summer.

What were you doing in those places?

I did student teaching in Sioux City and my hubby lived in Dubuque.

OH I see. How did you meet your hubby?

Oh yay!!!! I met my husband online, too. Only he lived in Florida at the time and then moved to Ohio. Then he decided to grace Iowa with his residency

my hubby did too! except he is from Indiana!

Mine isn't from anywhere really. His dad's in the navy so they moved a lot. His parents moved to Seattle when he was a freshman in high school and they still live in the same place. They quit moving so he moved on without them, I guess.

I have ALWAYS lived in Iowa. my hubby moved around because his dad is a preacher.

I've lived in Iowa my whole life, too. EXCEPT for when went to college in Missouri. I came home for 2 of the 3 summers but I stayed through the final summer living in Kansas and then moved back in September (to work at US West because I was working at Target that wasn't getting me very far)
And I never want to leave.

so what would you rather be doing?

I want to stay home and be my husband's housewife. People say I would get bored...but, they don't know me too well. I want to take care of keeping my house up and have dinner waiting for him on the table when he gets home from work.
Two years from yesterday is my quitting day.
My goal up until recently was to be a stay at home mom, but we've decided against having kids. And I think you have to have them to be a mom. So, I asked Dave if I could just be a stay at home wife instead, and he actually said yes.
